01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the heart of Schwyz at Schützenstrasse 15, Kultbar Tübli offers a uniquely authentic Swiss pub experience that goes beyond ordinary dining. This small yet spirited establishment captures the essence of local culture with a distinctive Viking-inspired flair, creating an atmosphere that feels both warmly intimate and vibrantly alive.

The charm of Kultbar Tübli lies not only in its cozy, smoker-friendly setting but also in its impressively vast selection of beers, encompassing both local Swiss brews and international favorites. The tactile coolness of a frothy glass in hand pairs beautifully with the convivial hum of friendly conversations, making every sip memorable.

Guests rave about the hospitality here, where the owner’s charismatic presence sets the tone. Former wrestler and Mad Heidi actor, he brings a playful energy that seeps into every corner—from wearing Viking costumes and displaying memorabilia to pouring honey wine, a drink as rich and inviting as the ambience itself. The owner here was awesome and the atmosphere in general. We came through during our honeymoon and got a free serving of beer out of Viking horns

Had an excellent time here with the hospitable owner and it’s Viking style. Owner used to be a wrestler and actor for Mad Heidi. The costume for Mad Heidi is inside. You can also play board games. He has interesting drinks such as the honey wine and the food was great! Would come again to play board games.

Great bar and excellent food, a godsend for two starving mountain bikers. The only refreshingly laid-back place in one of the most conservative, theocratic, antivaxx, anti-everything places of Switzerland.

We were greeted by a Swiss Viking who just acquired this fantastically medieval bar with a frighteningly extraordinary suit of armor smack in the middle! We had the privilege of being made the first cocktails by our generous owner/bartender - ask for an espresso martini, they are majestic!
